I know, that I was absent for long time, but my diet absorbs me completely. and here I want to write couple word about Dukan. It's really worth it!!! Honestly. I've never been super skinny and I've accepted that in last couple of years I've gained over 20 kilos. but I was to lazy to loose it. now I've got motivation-my wedding. maybe I wasn't waiting impatiently for this big day, but if we've decided and set up the date, so it would be nice to look good in wedding day. so I've started dukan's diet.
on the beginning I was terrified of eating protein only...and what else, nothing sweet anything but meat and eggs?? but I found out that it's not that bad. If I want to eat something sweet I'm eating pudding or dukan chocolate (I will post recipe soon). and there are so many possibilities to be creative in kitchen. testing new ideas is really inspiring. I have to admit that protein only days are really tough, because at one point you just can't look at the chicken or salmon but this diet really gives you opportunity to eat much and often so you wont be hungry.
I'm complaining about english cottage cheese because it's salted (5% of salt is really too much) and you cant make any cheese cake or anything sweet with it. and you can buy polish reduced fat cheese in polish shops but in my city it's disappearing from the shelves before it will be placed there (I found out that this diet is very popular in polish community).
eventhoug there are so many ways to prepare sweet desert that lack of the sweet cheese is not a problem for me.
I've started my diet at 14th of January and I had about one week break of it (after that I've got back to the first (protein only) phase). now I'm on the second phase which is "protein" and "vegetable and protein". I'm doing it in one to one system (which means one day of protein only and one day of protein and vegetable. now I'm loosing about one kilo a week. I'm not starving. I'm eating desserts. I've got used to eat sweetener instead of sugar. and...so far I've lost 9 kilos :D It's still far from my dreamed weight but I'm ready to face this challenge!!! keep your fingers crossed and if you're on the diet too I hope my recipes will help you to make this diet more friendly!!! GOOD LUCK!!!
(I've found interesting informations about this diet but it's in polish so maybe one day I will find some time to translate it to english-maybe it's not perfect but I hope you understand me ;p)
